Dale Earnhardt Chevrolet is Home to Two GM World Class Master Technicians
We are honored to announce that, in addition to our already great servcie technicians, we now are home to two GM World Class Master Technicians. Brian Hewitte and Corey Williams have both achieved this elite status.
To become one a technician must undergo a long and difficult path which involves extensive training. This process is so intensive that only 1,800 of the current 30,000 technicians achieve this status. In fact, in the southeast only 5% reach this goal! Truly, we here at Dale Earnhardt Chevy are home to the best there is.
Always wanted to drive like the Intimidator himself? Well here is your chance! The Dale Earnhardt Foundation is raffling off one of the first ten 2011 Intimidator Camaro’s. This special “Historic Edition” is named after Dale Earnhardt’s 2001 Most Popular Driver Award and is a true collector’s edition.
On top of that it is one mean vehicle! Driven by a highly modified, supercharged V8 powerhouse that produces 704 hp and 695 lb-ft of torque at 11 psi boost! While driving this machine, the only thing that you will want more of is open roads. Also adding to its substantial performance is a highly modified suspension, chassis, exhaust system, rotors and fuel system. It even sports a racing-style Intimidator shifter , built from one solid piece of aluminum and anodized black with a #3 on top and the Intimidator logo down the shaft. But power isn't the only thing that will make this car monumental. Its appearance carries definite cues from the race cars that Dale Earnhardt used during his reign of Intimidation, like a racing inspired, aluminum blade spoiler with support braces and a modern racing splitter for improved down force. To push more air to the monster of an engine, as well as to give it an even more threatening look, a front induction hood with a raised cowl is installed. Finishing off the look are chrome plated Intimidator badges, a classic-style heritage grille, menacing afterburner tail lamps and chromed wheels with Intimidator engraved on a spoke. Suited for the straights of the track but made to own the streets, this car is sure to live up to its name and intimidate everyone that spots it in their mirrors!
Just one purchase of a $100 raffle ticket could land you in the driver’s seat of this street legal racing machine. The more tickets you buy the more chances you have at winning! The car is to be awarded at Dale Earnhardt Day, April 29, 2012 at Dale Earnhardt Inc. Please visit www.daleearnhardtintimidatorcamaroraffle.com for complete details and to purchase a ticket.
On October 9th, 2011 we took some of the best and worst of our team and friends to cause havoc on the golf course at Glen Oaks Golf Course in Maiden, NC. Players included Randy Earnhardt, Kerry Earnhardt, Tommy Cross (GM of Dale Earnhardt Chevrolet), Joe Hedrick (former DEI Licensing), Charlie Downs (Hickory Crawdads), Willie Emmons (retired NC State Trooper), John Dodsen (Nascar Technical Institute) and many more! A great time was had by all and the course was able to fully recover from our play.
The weekend of October 27-29th Dale Earnhardt Chevrolet, in partnership with The Dale Earnhardt Foundation, exhibited at the Goodguys Southeastern Nationals at Charlotte Motor Speedway. The exhibit was to raise awareness of the Dale Earnhardt Intimidator Camaro Raffle.
Overall it was a very good show, lots of pure car guys and girls were there with tons of well put together custom classics! Met a great variety of passionate people that was a pleasure to talk with. Also was a blast watching the cars in action as well during the time trials. It's always good to see the cars actually doing what they were made to do, run wide open.
We here at Dale Earnhardt Chevrolet and The Dale Earnhardt Foundation would like to thank the Goodguys Rod & Custom Association for allowing us to exhibit and for providing us with the free space. Please go check them out and support their cause.
