A single 175-horsepower turbocharged 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine pairs with a new 8-speed automatic transmission on all configurations for 2027, replacing the former CVT on front-wheel-drive models. Every Equinox features a standard 11.3-inch touchscreen running Chevy’s latest Google-based interface with Google Maps navigation and Wi-Fi hotspot connectivity alongside a standard 11.0-inch digital gauge cluster. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto come standard across the lineup. The Equinox is available in three distinct trims: LT, RS, and ACTIV. The LT focuses on versatility, the RS offers a street-inspired look with black emblems and 19-inch wheels, while the ACTIV is designed for off-road aesthetics with all-terrain tires and a uniquely tuned suspension.
